Blakesley Earns National Title

Rising Senior, Madison Blakesley swam at the YMCA Nationals last week, in Greensboro, North Carolina.  In the 50 yard breaststroke event, she was able to swim a blazing 32.54 seconds, which she earned the new meet record with this time as well as a National Title.  Congratulations to Madison!!!  

Walker Signs with IUPUI

On April 19th, Allison Walker signed with IUPUI to continue her Swimming career.  Allison was a four year member of the girls swim team.  They were three-time City Champions, and she was a four year State Finalist.  She is a member of numerous All-Conference Relay Teams, as well as a member of the School Record

Girls Swimmers named Academic All-State

Congratulations to Allison Walker and Jessica Vera on being named Academic All-State for Girls Swimming.  Also Congratulations to Anna Kirkpatrick for being named Honorable Mention Academic All-State.  Great job at putting the student in student-athlete!!! Girls Swim Team finishes 13th at State

The girls swim team competed on February 10th and 11th at the IHSAA State Swim Meet.  The team finished 13th.  They competed in five different events. 200 Medley Relay finished 10th-Anna Kirkpatrick, Abby Kirkpatrick, Allison Walker, & Madison Blakesley     200 Individual Medley 7th-Abby Kirkpatrick   50 Freestyle 7th-Madison Blakesley   200 Freestyle Relay

Results from Sectional Finals are as follows: 200 Med Relay– 3rd place Anna Kirkpatrick, Abby Kirkpatrick, Allison Walker, Madison Blakesley 200 Free– 6th- Hannah Oross, 8th- McKenna Mast, 12th- Sierra Blair 200 IM-2nd- Abby Kirkpatrick, 6th- Lauren Meyer, 8th Stasia Mitchell 50 Free-1st- Madison Blakesley, 3rd- Anna Kirkpatrick, 11th- Anna Urban Diving-10th- Hannah Grant 100

Girls Swimming Finishes 2nd in NIC Meet

Congratulations to the Riley Girls Swim Team for their 2nd place finish in the NIC Conference meet and their 2nd place finish in the overall standings for the season.  Great job, girls! Top 3 finishers in each event earned All-Conference awards.  Those swimmers were: 200 Medley Relay- Anna Kirkpatrick, Abby Kirkpatrick, Allison Walker, Madison Blakesley

Girls Swim wins First Meet

The Riley Girls Swim Team won their first meet against New Prairie 119-67. Riley Relays beat the New Prairie Pool record in two events; Setting a pool record in the 200 Medley Relay (1:54.18)  was the team of Lauren Meyer, Alexis Jozwiak, Katie Walker, and Madison Blakesley Setting a pool record in the 200 Free

Kirkpatrick Twins Sign with IU

This morning Abby and Anna Kirkpatrick signed their letters of intent to swim for Indiana University.  The twins have been a part of the Riley swim team for the past three years and have been members of the South Bend Swim Club since they were seven years old.  Anna Kirkpatrick is a 3 time IHSAA
